Frieze New York isn’t the only thing going on in the city right now. Below you can learn what you need to know and where you need to be during Frieze Week 2018.
TEFAF New York Spring May 4–8
Launched in May 2017 to critical acclaim, TEFAF New York Spring (May 4–8, 2018) returns in its second edition. Taking place at the historic Park Avenue Armory, the fair sequel extends the global art market platform to both private and institutional collectors. Its dedication to modern and contemporary art and design returns, too, with 90 exhibitors—including 24 new participants.
Presenting galleries from across the world, TEFAF New York Spring will bring together jewelry, African and Oceanic art, and modern and contemporary (after 1920) art and design, in a uniquely international atmosphere. Represented galleries include Hauser & Wirth, Hammer Galleries, Galerie Lefebvre, White Cube, W&K — Wienerroither & Kohlbacher, and David Zwirner. Among the newcomers are leaders and crowd favorites Gagosian, Gladstone Gallery, Mnuchin Gallery, Marian Goodman Gallery, and Hemmerle.
